The Dundalk Heritage Fair is back June 26–28, 2026. The smartest fairgoers know the weekend starts with a real meal.
Every summer, the Dundalk Heritage Fair brings our community together for three days of live music, carnival rides, fireworks, and hometown pride at Dundalk Heritage Park. It's one of the best weekends of the year in Baltimore County. Anyone who's spent a full day at the fair knows one thing for certain: you don't want to do it on an empty stomach.
Vinny's Italian Cafe sits on Holabird Avenue, just minutes from the fairgrounds, serving the kind of authentic Italian food that's fueled Dundalk families since 1999. Before you head to the midway, or after the last fireworks fade, pull up a chair and treat yourself to a true taste of Italy.

A Taste of Italy in the Heart of Dundalk
Vinny's Italian Café is a piece of Italy that put down roots in Dundalk. Our family came to Baltimore by way of Naples, and every dish on the menu starts with recipes from the old country. The pasta, the sauces, the pizza dough, it's all made from scratch. Exactly the way it's been done in Italian kitchens for generations.
That's what authentic Italian food means to us. No shortcuts, no freezer-to-fryer fair tricks. Just fresh ingredients, family recipes, and portions generous enough to power you through a full day of rides, games, and three stages of live music.
Grab Lunch Before the Gates Open
The fair opens at noon each day, which makes Vinny's a perfect first stop. Come in for lunch and start your fair day the Italian way, a hot meatball sub piled high, a fresh salad, or a few slices of pizza shared around the table. If you're heading to the fair with the whole crew, go big! Our legendary 30-inch Casa Mia pizza feeds the entire group and turns lunch into an event of its own.
Dinner Worth Leaving the Fair For
We’ll let you in on a local secret. The fair doesn't allow outside food, and the lines at the vendor stands get long when the evening crowds roll in. So, do what longtime fairgoers do, step away and refuel in a location where you can sit down and relax. Then go back for the fireworks.
Our dinner menu runs deep, with dozens of Italian classics to choose from: homemade pastas tossed in scratch-made sauces, chicken and veal favorites, fresh seafood, and pizza hot from the oven. Dine in with us in the air conditioning (your feet will thank you), or call ahead for carryout and have dinner waiting the moment you're ready for a break.
Save Room for Italian Desserts
No taste of Italy is complete without something sweet. Skip the cotton candy and finish your meal with classic Italian desserts like creamy cannoli, rich tiramisu, and other old-world favorites. It's the perfect ending to a fair-day feast, and the perfect excuse to sit just a little longer before heading back out into the summer evening.
Make Vinny's Part of Your Fair Weekend Tradition
The Heritage Fair is about celebrating everything that makes Dundalk special, the community, the history, and the families who built this town. Vinny's Italian Cafe is proud to be part of that story. We've been serving our neighbors authentic Italian food for more than 25 years. Fair weekend is our favorite time to see familiar faces (and meet new ones) before and after the festivities.
So this June 26–28, make us part of the plan. Lunch before the gates open. Dinner before the fireworks. A box of Italian desserts to end the night. However you celebrate, celebrate it with the flavors of Italy. No passport required, just a short drive down Holabird Avenue.
